Placement machine manufacturer I-Pulse has introduced several new features to the M10 and M20 machine platform. Large board handling capability has been introduced to cater for the demands of LED lighting technology.
The maximum board size that can be assembled on the M20 is now a whopping 1480 mm x 510 mm as standard. For reliable in-feeding, the machine has roller guides and full length clamping.
Demand for on-machine dispensing of solder paste and other materials has increased, and so up to 3 dispense heads can now be fitted to the machine. Another new feature is Laser board warp detection to ensure accurate non contact dispensing and to further improve placement accuracy.
