Our US partners PVAÂ have launched the “Delta 6” – a new and completely re-engineered robotic conformal coating machine, ideal for selective coating of assembled printed circuit boards.
Compared to the previous PVA 650 model, the Delta 6 has a slimmer footprint with improved structural rigidity, so that faster coating speeds can be reached and also has easier access.
Integrated features include a robotic gantry with a repeatability of 25 microns, servo controlled four axis motion platform and space for up to 3 coating valves with tilt and rotate facility. The whole system has closed loop control and multiple dispensing applications and materials can be delivered in one cell with the intelligence coming from PVA’s well proven ‘Pathmaster’ robotic coating software.
The new Delta 6 is available from may 2014, and we will be installing a demonstration machine in our showroom in mid May.
